Fifteen bibliacal characters and fifteen animals are connected in this collection of short stories for young children, where we peep into the respective lives of Jozsua, who lives in twenty-first century Hungary, and Joshua, who lived in Israel at the time of the Apostles. Animals, such as bear, lion, locust, deer, horse, dove and oxen feature prominently in all the stories and in the lives of the lives of the two young boys. Whilst reading these stories children will meet such biblical characters as Moses, Samson, Anna, Mary, Balaam, Esther and the Apostle Peter and learn their stories and teachings.
